Subcultures and Sociology is an ongoing project by Grinnell College students in Dr. Ross Haenfler‘s Deviance and Youth Subcultures course. Their goals include:
– learning about various people and groups labeled ‘deviant’
– providing sociological analysis of deviant subcultures and sharing sociological theory
– sharing our knowledge with others, academics and non-academics alike, in an accessible way
– providing resources for readers to learn more on their own
